C.V.: A Minimalist Abstract Artwork
The clients were renovating their lounge, aiming for a more minimalist aesthetic by removing the fireplace and its surround. They sought a statement piece to serve as the new focal point of the room, replacing the visual prominence once held by the fireplace.
A carefully chosen palette of browns, reds, and yellows was used to create an abstracted representation of their house, evoking a warm and inviting atmosphere. The composition features strong diagonal lines that guide the viewer’s eye across the canvas, encouraging a thorough exploration of the entire image.
"Eric & Margaret - Hope": An Artistic Representation of Hope
This artwork centers around the powerful theme of hope, a concept deeply meaningful to the clients. The color palette was thoughtfully selected to reflect this theme: vibrant yellows symbolize life, light, sunshine, and flourishing gardens, while the purples and blues represent spirituality and faith. White accents are used to convey the purity and clarity of hope itself.
Positioned in the clients' hallway, the piece is designed to be seen daily, serving as a constant reminder of optimism and resilience. When the afternoon sunlight streams across it, the artwork seems to glow, enhancing its uplifting presence and creating a warm, inviting atmosphere in the home.
